 Singham Again Movies Story: DCP Bajirao Singham, is now married to Avni Kamat, who works in the Cultural Ministry, and has a son, Shaurya. He is transferred from Mumbai to Srinagar for three years. Once there, he is attacked by the Chief of Lashkar, Omar Hafeez, who had fled from Pakistan to Sri Lanka and started selling drugs after his sons, Riyaaz and Raza's plans were thwarted[a]. Singham successfully arrests him, but Omar arrogantly threatens him about the danger coming towards him, Sangram "Simmba" Bhalerao, and Veer Sooryavanshi for killing his sons. Singham meets Home Minister Raj Jaishankar and tells him about the drug syndicate operating in India and how they are being transported from Sri Lanka to the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu. Using the profits from the drug trade, Omar wants to initiate another terrorist attack on India. Jaishankar commissions a new squad, Shiva Squad, led by Singham and his fellow officers, Daya and Devika, to stop and destroy Lashkar.

Two years later, Avni is hosting a theatre production of Ramlila, depicting the journey of Lord Ram and Sita. Singham catches a ship sailing towards Tamil Nadu from Sri Lanka and finds drugs in the containers and arrests four men working for Danger Lanka. Upon interrogating them, the arrested men reveal that three of Lanka's associates were residing in Madurai. Singham calls upon DCP Shakti Shetty from Madurai to arrest and escort all three of them to Mumbai, which she does promptly. However, on the same night, Danger Lanka arrives at the police station, kills all the policemen, and rescues his three men. Shakti feels guilty for not being able to save the police officers, but Singham consoles and tells her to track them down.

Meanwhile, Avni departs for Rameshwaram to shoot some footage for the production along with her colleague, Mrigya. Singham sends Daya along with them. Upon collecting footage for the production, Avni is about to go back to Mumbai when she is abducted by Danger Lanka. He reveals that it was a plan made by him and Mrigya. On hearing of Avni's abduction, Singham and his team leave for Rameshwaram. Meanwhile, Daya tails and finds Avni, rescues and helps her to run away. However, she is chased by Lanka's men and in the ensuing chase, throws her bangles, which were gifted by Singham, as a mark for him to trace. While trying to save Avni, Daya gets brutally injured by Lanka. Avni is then rescued by ACP Satya Bali, who considers Singham his inspiration and takes her to his home. Singham reaches there and meets Daya, who is in a critical state and airlifts him. He finds Avni's bangles and finds out that she is with Satya.

Lanka reaches and attacks Satya's home, and in the midst, Avni is shot and abducted by Lanka. Singham arrives there, meets Satya, and saves his family. Lanka goes back to Sri Lanka and reveals to Singham, his true identity as Zubair Hafeez, Omar's grandson, who wants to take revenge on Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi; and Mrigya reveals her identity as Iqra Hafeez, Zubair's aunt whose husband, Raza, was also killed by the three of them. They reveal that they both stayed in India for two years to keep an eye on Singham and Avni. Zubair tells Singham to bring Omar along with Simmba and Sooryavanshi and take Avni back with him. Singham vows to him and Omar Hafeez to save Avni.

Zubair reaches Colombo and keeps Avni hostage. He tells Singham to send Simmba to Sri Lanka to check on Avni. Singham goes to Shivgarh and meets Simmba. He agrees to go to Sri Lanka and meets Avni and tells her that Singham is coming to rescue her. Just as Zubair tries to trap Simmba, he escapes from Zubair's clutches by destroying his hideout. Meanwhile, Singham reaches Sri Lanka secretly and with the help of a few RAW agents, finds Simmba and Avni. Jaishankar sends Omar Hafeez to Colombo on a military plane. The next day, Shakti and Satya arrive at the port and help Simmba and Singham. Sooryavanshi joins them in their fight and together they rescue Avni. Singham kills Zubair and goes back to India along with Avni and his team. Avni is able to wrap up her production of Ramlila and it becomes a huge success. In the post-credits scene, Chulbul Pandey visits Singham's cabin and asks to join his Shiva Squad.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 review: Roohan aka Rooh Baba (Kartik) is a charlatan, a ghostbuster who cons people in Kolkata. He is contacted by the princess of Raktaghat, Meera (Triptii Dimri), who wants him to do this ghostbusting act at her kingdom because her father, Raja Saab (Vijay Raaz), is convinced the palace is haunted by Manjulika, a 200-year-old witch. Roohan learns that he bears a striking resemblance to a late prince of the kingdom, and everyone assumes he is the reincarnation. He decides to get rid of Manjulika for the royals. But the only trouble is who is Manjulika. The candidates are two mysterious women - Mallika (Vidya Balan), who comes to the palace to restore it, and Mandira (Madhuri Dixit), a royal who wants to buy the property. Both have a weird fixation with the palace and the throne, bringing with them some unusual happenings.

Ruhan "Rooh Baba" Randhawa is having a great time looting people, claiming to be a Ghostbuster. He is called by Meera's uncle to talk to Meera who is a ghost. When she arrives, Ruhan is petrified into thinking it's a real ghost and this is captured by her uncle on Meera's phone. They blackmail Ruhan threatening to post it online if he refuses to come to Rakht Ghat with them.

With no other choice, Ruhan agrees. When he arrives there, everybody is shocked to see him because he looked exactly likely a doppelganger of the prince, Rajkumar Debendranath of that estate from 200 years ago. The royal family lived in the horse barn, due to Manjulika's existence in the palace.

Rajpurohit warns everyone not to go near Manjulika's room and also suggests that it should be opened only on Durgashtami, and only by a person of the royal family, who has been reborn to get rid of the ghost. Everyone moves to the palace as they believe Ruhan, their savior has arrived.

According to a local myth, 200 years ago, Manjulika was a princess, and the king had a son from his servant, who was named Debendranath. When the King decided to announce Debendranath as his heir, it infuriates Manjulika. She kills Debendranath, and the king decides to burn her alive. It was her spirit that roamed in the palace, and responsible for the many killings.

Meera calls in the restoration department to work on the palace so it can be sold. Mallika leads the department and also shows signs of being possessed.

Ruhan gets to know about the real ghost and plans to leave, but realizes that his video needs to be erased before he leaves. While looking for the video, he finds out that his photos were secretly taken by Meera, suggesting her romantic feelings for him, and when confronted she confirms to it.

Ruhan decides to stay but soon finds that Pandit, Panditaayan and Chhote Pandit are already living in Manjulika's room. It is revealed that all three of them were deliberately trying to shoo everyone away so they could peacefully live there. The restoration department takes over the room and while working there, they end up breaking a wall which leads them to a secret passage. The passage leads to a room which has a door with Bhairava Kavach all over it. The Rajpurohit is also confused and to know more he decides to read more about the palace rooms and Manjulika, so they can work around the situation.

Desperate to sell the property, Rajaji decides to break the Bhairava Kavach with Roooh baba's help and see what's inside. Just when they open the door, the Rajpurohit arrives with the news that the room belonged to Anjulika who was the elder sister of Manjulika and Debendranath. It is revealed that the king 200 years ago had two daughters who despised each other.

Despite knowing about the palace, Mandira arrives at the palace as a prospective buyer and decides to stay there to learn more about the estate and surroundings. After Mandira and Mallika meet, strange things start to happen in the palace. The Rajpurohit warns everyone to be careful until Durgashtmi, as that's the day when Manjulika would take her revenge.

Ruhan and Meera have their fair share of encounters with both Mallika and Mandira, but they are confused about which one is the real Manjulika. Rajpurohit comes back with pure oil from havan to kill the spirit of Manjulika, and the night before Durgashtmi they all gather where the body was burned 200 years ago. Ruhan cleverly gets rid of the spirit that was inside Mallika and Mandira, and then they get to know that the ghost was actually of Debendranath who was burned to death 200 years ago for her love of dance and not liking her male body.

It is revealed that Anjulika and Manjulika had planned to get Debendranath killed for the throne of Rakht Ghat and he was burned to death as soon as both sisters exposed him to the king and his ministers. The king then decided to throw both sisters out of his kingdom. Debendranath's ghost then kills the king and his guards. The Rajpurohit at that time had him sealed in that secret room locking it with the Bhairava Kavach which Ruhan broke and it is revealed it was Debendranath who had been the one who had planned everything by entering Mallika and Mandira's body as they were his sisters' reincarnations.

In the end, all three of them have a heartfelt moment and Debendranath gets the peace he was yearning for, for two centuries.

Amaran movie review: Gentleman cadet Mukund Varadarajan is marching along with his batchmates during his passing out parade. During this march, an animated Indhu Rebecca Varghese shouts out the name of the love of her life. She also runs around to catch a glimpse of Mukund, who is one among the soldiers passing out. GV Prakash Kumar’s rousing score primes the scene for a romantic high. 

She is jubilant, happy, ecstatic, and sports a smile that reaches her eyes as Mukund marches with a straight face. And at the very last moment, as the march comes to a close, he finally has half a smile, even without looking at her. Now, is that smile for Indhu? Is he smiling because he has finished his training, and is living his long-time dream of joining the Indian army? Director Rajkumar Periasamy’s Amaran tells us that Mukund, after a point, didn’t really differentiate between the two, and that’s what makes his story all the more special.

Amaran begins at the end. We know where a rather sombre Indhu (a terrific Sai Pallavi) is going. This isn’t a film that is always subtle, but it isn’t always loud either. “I am in a forever long-distance relationship with my love,” says Indhu, as we first meet Major Mukund at Shopian. Rajkumar wastes no time as he establishes the fact that Major’s unit, the 44 Rashtriya Rifles, is one that has people from across the country. We hear Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, and of course, 

Tamil. After a rather interesting introduction to the machinations of this unit, we go back in time to know how Indhu and Mukund fell in love with each other. The meet-cutes are cute, and it is upto Sai Pallavi to do most of the heavy lifting in these scenes. Somehow, Sivakarthikeyan feels more at home in the uniform rather than when he is out of it. Sai Pallavi sells the chirpiness and the ‘butterflies in the stomach’ kind of love, and she wonderfully stays on the right side of the line between cute and caricature, albeit the Malayalam-Tamil dialogue delivery gets some time getting used to.
